II'm João Abdalla, a Senior Product Designer (UX/UI) based in Brazil, working remotely with international teams.

I graduated in 2005 with a specialization in marketing and digital design, and over the past 20+ years I've worked across UX/UI, product strategy, and front-end development — designing products where the stakes are real: compliance, payroll, healthcare decisions, financial data.

I've led design for Brazil's largest exam-prep platform, with 8M+ active users, built multi-role enterprise systems from zero, and shipped products for US-based SaaS teams as a remote contractor. I also teach UX/UI and Figma at Jala University, training the next generation of LATAM designers and engineers.

I care about the system underneath the screen as much as the screen itself — because the best interface in the world doesn't help if the structure behind it is broken.
